On rocky ground, a normal tent peg bends after the third strike. A threaded peg screws in where hammering won't get you anywhere.
These screw pegs are twisted into the ground using the integrated handle instead of being hammered in — this is significantly more reliable on hard and stony ground. The included adapter transfers the work to a cordless drill, which saves noticeable time when setting twelve pegs. A nail puller is included for loosening.

Als Faustregel einen Hering je Abspannpunkt plus vier Ersatz. Die mitgelieferten Heringe sind bei günstigen Zelten oft dünn und verbiegen auf steinigem Grund. Wer häufig auf hartem Boden steht, fährt mit Schraubheringen besser — die drehen sich hinein, statt sich beim Schlagen zu verformen.
